Service Description
Parenting children impacted by trauma and prenatal substance exposure can feel overwhelming and, at times, defeating. In this 1-hour workshop, we’ll explore how these early experiences affect the brain—and what that means for behavior, learning, and daily life. You’ll walk away with simple, science-backed strategies you can use right away to reduce stress, support your child’s unique needs, and build stronger connection. By focusing on strengths and making small, consistent shifts, you’ll discover how to move from frustration to understanding—creating a better fit for your child at home, school, and beyond. The virtual training is taught by Sandra Flach, a facilitator of the Neurobehavioral Model and parent of five adopted children—two diagnosed with FAS, and has 30+ years of parenting experience.
