Dr. Brown is a professor, trainer, researcher, consultant, and founder and CEO of the American Institute for the Advancement of Forensic Studies (AIAFS). He has extensive expertise in fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), trauma, traumatic brain injury (TBI), executive dysfunction, neuropsychology, and other brain-based conditions. A prolific educator and author, Dr. Brown has completed multiple graduate degrees and certificates, published numerous articles and book chapters, and is a sought-after speaker and podcast guest.


In Part 1 of this series, Sandra and Dr. Brown introduce the fascinating concept of neuroplasticity—the brain's remarkable ability to adapt, reorganize, and form new neural pathways.
