There are basically 3 types of adoption: Domestic, foster to adopt, and international. A domestic adoption takes place within the United States and can be done privately through an agency or through the foster care system.  Fostering to adopt is one of the least costly ways to adopt.

International adoption requires a great deal in the way of finances and patience. The process is complicated and long. Yet there are approximately 163 million orphans in the world today equal to almost 1/2 the population of the United States.  While JFO is not an adoption or foster care agency, we do believe every child deserves a safe, loving family.  Follow the links below to helpful resources to learn more:
