God said, "She is yours!"
Three week old Alina entered foster care and was placed temporarily into the home of the Bestvina family with a plan to be reunified with her birth mom. Chris and Carrina Bestvina were already biological parents of two daughters and little Alina fit snugly into their family.
As time went on plans for Alina to return to her birth mom began to unravel and the Bestvina’s desire to adopt the baby grew. However, a biological aunt emerged and filed a petition for custody. After nearly two years of being her parents, Chris and Carrina could lose baby Alina forever.
After agonizing days and prayer filled nights, Carrina heard God say, “She’s yours.” You can find out what happened next and hear Carrina’s full story by listening to our Orphans No More podcast.
